Graduation
Several students I knew were about to graduate from high
school. Receiving the announcements made me think back to
my own graduation so many years before. Back then I had such
high hopes for myself. Out of fear of leaving home and everyone
I knew, I settled for a two-year degree from the local technical
college. Without related work experience, that degree was
virtually useless. "Graduation" was written to encourage
those young students to embrace and conquer the next challenge…
college and life away from home.
