When love is true
It's beautiful to behold
And is easy to see
It wraps you in tender warmth
Yet, allows you to be free
When love is real
A certain joy fills the soul

With each smile, each touch, each kiss

It is a blessing from God

When Love Is…
The young couple I wrote this for never saw it. The friend
who asked me to write something for them wasn't really able
to give me a good picture, if you will, of what they were
like. I felt that I was jumping from a plane with no parachute.
I was not surprised when my friend did not like this one since
I also felt that it wasn't my best work. Win some, loose some.
HELPFUL HINT: Custom poetry needs a personal touch - and
that translates to you telling me about yourself and who the
