A Child To Treasure
One day my son came home from school with a note from a parent
who was trying to organize a shower for his pregnant teacher.
I sent in the two dollars donation as requested, but was a
bit undecided about the "optional gift." In the
process of contemplating what to purchase, my thoughts turned
to how lucky parents are to be blessed with children. I believe
that because children do not ask to be born, they must be
nurtured and protected until they are capable of properly
caring for themselves. "A Child To Treasure" was
born.
